Good practice · every time
- Wash your hands before handling any vial or syringe.
- Swab the vial top with a fresh alcohol wipe and let it dry.
- Use a new, sterile needle for every draw and every injection.
- Swab the injection site with alcohol and let it dry before injecting.
- Add water slowly down the vial wall — swirl gently, never shake.
- Rotate injection sites to avoid irritation.
- Store reconstituted vials refrigerated (2–8°C). Do not freeze.
- Dispose of needles in a proper sharps container.
